Phase II: Have it put to .ISO and burned to Business cards to distribute.

or, for any distro, we've found Linux Live, a package of scripts the will take your current install and create an .iso of it

Bootsplash of vulcan's close-ness balusplash-0.2.xpm.gz copy that to /boot/grub and add it to your menu.lst

# general configuration: 
timeout   5
default   0
splashimage=(hd0,2)/boot/grub/balusplash-0.2.xpm.gz

mine is (hd0,2) because /boot/ is on hda3

You *might* need to then run something like # install-grub /dev/hdx where x is your drive (or sdx)

To install on Gnome do the following:

# gconftool-2 --type string --set /apps/gnome-session/options/splash_image "/path/to/splash-img.png"
