I'm Brian Cupps and usually just go by BC on the list so Brian Jablonsky and I don't get confused. I've been part of BALU since mid-1999 when I was introduced by Ed McLain (you still around Ed??). I even hosted a few meetings when I worked at Herzing several years ago. (Anybody remember the guy from the Apple Core cracking on command line during the OS X presentation? LOL)
I'm a mix of programmer (.NET - don't crack) and net admin (windows & linux). I just left Herzing this summer and my new job is primarily Linux (server side) for now. I use Open Office on my XP box, but other than that, the only open source stuff I've ever done is server side (DNS, FTP, Samba, Apache, MySQL, etc...).
I'm also a fairly avid gamer, but only on handhelds and consoles. I was told once that "PCs are for applications. Consoles are for gaming." Plus, I bought a PSP and an XBox cheaper than what some PC gamers spend on a single video card. Sheesh!
