I graduated from Auburn University with a Management Information Systems degree (with a concentration in several different programming languages), and again in 2003 with a Masters in Management Information Systems (concentrated in Oracle and databases, My Thesis was on OSS in the medium and small business world, particualarly ecommerce) While at Auburn University I did extensive work on getting oracle running on linux in the early days, as well as fine tuning it. I also did alot of work on testing oracle clustered applications servers on linux. Also while at auburn I taught the following classes: Visual Basic, Java, and the first open soure class offered at auburn. I also have worked on the following open source projects: gaim, ifolder, and about to start trying to do some work on beagle. Currently I run Opensuse, Suse Linux Enterprise Server, Suse 9.3, and Redhat 7.3 as well as enterprise. I have worded on Fedora, gentoo, and debian before. I currently work at Emageon. I am systems engineer and am in charge of writing our upgrades and packaging our software, so I basically do alot of rpm and perl work.
