The Birmingham Area Linux UsersI have been using Linux for a few years now. I am not a coder or programmer but enjoy learning and helping. I have been a member of the ASWP gaming clan for a while as well. Playing games and running game servers is what actually got me into linux. Now I am hoping I can give back by helping others who are just coming into linux. I am working with the Ubuntu Gamers Arena, and about to get involved in the Ubuntu Documentation Storage Facility (UDSF). Making access to documents, How-to's and helpful postings more accessible.
My main machine is running Ubuntu 6.06 (Dapper), My daughters is running Edubuntu 6.06, MythBox is a Ubuntu 5.10 (Breezy), and I have a test system that is somewhere between Dapper and Edgy, but I tend to kill it on a regular basis. My links:
