- Network monitoring, dispatching technicians to schools, identify/fix radio link and routing problems. You will be answering phones, but it's not the normal "helpdesk" questions. Creating configurations on layer 2 and 3 switches. And be willing to work "on-call" once a month, which means answering the phone at night and coming in half days Saturday and Sunday. What you need to know: Network topology (there's a ton of policy routing to deal with), wireless radios, system administration (both linux and windows), be comfortable with a command line. Most of our servers and radios run linux however you'd be using a xp desktop (yeah, I know..).

- Strong scripting knowledge (BASH, Perl, Ruby, etc.)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Documentation and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of the Windows operating system and the ability to trouble shoot installed applications
- Understanding of basic networking functionality and skills (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
- UNIX/Linux knowledge is a must
- Understanding of JAVA based applications is desired
- Understanding of RPM packages, HL7 experience, and XML/XSLT/SVG experience.

- Strong knowledge of Adobe Illistrator and Autocad Programs
- UNIX/Linux knowledge is preferred but not important.
- XML/XSLT/SVG experience is desired.
