Interested in Linux and open source software.

At home, I mainly use Linux to satisfy my inclination to tinker and learn what goes on under the hood. Linux is great for this. It's also great for hardware that current versions of Windows choke on. Since I'm a tinkerer I get satisfaction out of using Linux and open source software keeping old hardware going.

My current goals now are twofold: expand my server-side Linux knowledge and become proficient with an OO language.
