The Birmingham Area Linux Users
Greetings,
I am Linux geek at heart, Ive only been dabaling with Linux for about a year and computers in general for around 10 yrs, most of my experience is win32 and BSD UNIX with Apple OSX but, I consistantly use Redhat or Suse distros on my systems at least with a dual boot config. Im a full time student at Virginia College enrolled in their Network Security program with empahsis on Linux OS's. My corporate experience is mostly Engineering/Implimentation. My codeing skill is mostly minor scripting. I have one desktop SusE 10.0, one MS Windows XP Pro/SusE 9.3 dual boot, one Overclocked Mac Mini running OSX 10.3 and my girlfriend has MS Windows XP.

Right now Im working for Sungard Data Systems for the University of Montevallo as a Microcomputer Specialist. I previously worked for Compass Bank in their Online Banking Department as a Senior PC Banking Specialist.
