TechMixer 2.0

We are putting a bit more preparation into the second Tech Mixer, primarily because we have more time to prepare, and secondly because we were poorely represented at the first mixer, we did our best given the situation.

Booth

We need to have at least a couple of people at the booth at all times, So if you want time to wonder around the event please be a booth volunterr so we will have enogh poeple sot that one person dowsnt' have to be at the booth the entire time. We are also looking for volunteers to stay at the booth and talk to prospective new momeber and ansnwer any questions.

We will need a couple of volunteers to bring their laptops so we can have demo's running, ideas including:

  • xgl/compiz

    • NickHudson can do this my laptop is set up with Xgl now and runs quite well.

  • VmWare

  • Simple Wireless functions ( Firefox, Evoution, Music Player with streaming radio, Gaim ) t

  • OpenOffice.Org

We need a Banner to hang
